52 Photos Project

Today's prompt (thanks to Bella's daughter) is chocolate!
These were for sale at Dean and Deluca, NYC food
emporium extraordinaire (and expensive).  I'm no
mathematician
(understatement!), but I have to wonder why you'd buy
6-inch cake for $50 when you can get two 3-inch cakes for $30.

  1. If the size is referring to the diameter of a round cake, then a 6" cake is four times the size of 3" cake. Four 3" cakes would cost $60, so the 6" cake would save you $10 for the same amount of cake.

  4. Chocolate and peanut butter is probably the worlds greatest combination next to coffee and cream. Lovely shot!

  6. The math doesn't make sense and neither does the size. Who wants a 3" cake? And who wants a cake as tall as it is wide? Even tho I'm not a cake lover I would have drooled at the window for a second or two.
