The quartier around the Canal St. Martin used to be one
of the sketchiest areas of Paris, and now it's tres chic.
Yet another neighborhood I can no longer afford—sigh.

I would love to see Paris again someday, preferable in the Autumn as it was a bit hot in the springtime when we last went in 1997. Nice reflections on the water from the apartments, and I bet they are really nice ones too. Thanks for sharing:)
