Today's prompt (thanks to Bella's daughter) is chocolate!
These were for sale at Dean and Deluca, NYC food
emporium extraordinaire (and expensive). I'm no mathematician
(understatement!), but I have to wonder why you'd buy a
6-inch cake for $50 when you can get two 3-inch cakes for $30. |
It's worth asking...
ReplyDeleteIf the size is referring to the diameter of a round cake, then a 6" cake is four times the size of 3" cake. Four 3" cakes would cost $60, so the 6" cake would save you $10 for the same amount of cake.
ReplyDeleteI'll take your word for it, Eeyore! :~}
ReplyDeleteat any price, i'll take one please!
ReplyDeleteChocolate and peanut butter is probably the worlds greatest combination next to coffee and cream. Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteYes - I would have scooped up one of these without question! LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh my, they look delicious!
ReplyDeleteThe math doesn't make sense and neither does the size. Who wants a 3" cake? And who wants a cake as tall as it is wide? Even tho I'm not a cake lover I would have drooled at the window for a second or two.
ReplyDeleteI so love Dean and Deluca! Every time I am in New York City I visit there! Your photo is scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteDonna
You lost me at peanut butter........
ReplyDeleteYou had me at Chocolate. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in on Traveling Tuesday at the WhistleStop Cafe... Where are you going next tuesday?
