Brooklyn Bridge

This is why I love to walk across early in the morning—I have it
almost to myself and I can feel like it really is "my" bridge.

Weekend Reflections

I love these beautiful light fixtures reflected in the
mirrored wall high up in Grand Central Terminal.

Moon over the Manhattan Bridge

And a little bonus:  That's the Williamsburg Bridge visible in the background.

Weekend Reflections

This building (which I've featured on my other blog) overlooks the Brooklyn Bridge—and catches every gorgeous sunset.

Verrazano-Narrows Bridge

I've shot this bridge a few times from a plane, but never like this—
down below, from a boat.  This was taken by my daughter Lila.

Weekend Reflections

In case you find yourself downtown and hungry in the wee hours,
Fishmarket's kitchen is conveniently open until 4 AM.  Do you
recognize "my" bridge reflected in the window?

Ponte dei Frari

The gondoliere park their boats on the rio below
this bridge and hang out here when business is
slow. From time to time they'll grab a coffee or
a spritz from the cafe.

Brooklyn Bridge

It's the perfect commute, and I try to do it every day (though on
this overcast morning, I only just beat the downpour)!

Weekend Reflections

Tried out a Spanish restaurant in the Village recently (and if I could
remember the name of the place I'd tell you, 'cause it was pretty
good). The candlelit ambience was lovely—and fortunately, I carry
a penlight so I was actually able to read the menu!
