| I was crossing the Brooklyn Bridge at just the right time to see the setting sun glinting off these windows in DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). [To see more weekend reflections, visit James's meme.] |

Weekend Reflections
| This newly refurbished carousel is in Brooklyn Bridge Park, between the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. Reflected in the ceiling are the folks who were queued up to buy a ticket. [To see more weekend reflections, visit James's meme.] |

Weekend Reflections
This building (which I've featured on my other blog) overlooks the Brooklyn Bridge—and catches every gorgeous sunset. [See more Weekend Reflections here.] |

Manhattan Bridge
You might wonder why the photographer
didn't use the bridge as a backdrop. But
he did—only he used the Brooklyn Bridge,
out of view on the left. This little park in
Brooklyn gives you a great view of both.
[You can see more bridges here, chez
Louis la Vache.]

Manhattan Bridge
Another addition to Louis La Vache's
Bridges meme. I've recently shown a
version of this view on my other blog:
Seen from the Brooklyn Bridge, the
Empire State Building is framed by the
upper part of the bridge. And if you go
down on the street (in DUMBO—Down
Under The Manhattan Bridge Overpass),
the framing is slightly different but no
less spectacular.
