Well, this is the Venice version.
There are no traffic lights, of course—so where
there's a blind corner, they mount a mirror.
(I'm sure it happens sometimes,
but I've never seen a boat accident here.)

I found this young woman twirling a couple of
flaming batons in Campo Santo Stefano, in Venice.
Very dramatic!  (But I did notice that her
clothing was sleeveless and fit close to her body—
she was taking no chances with a stray spark.)
