This is the Ponte dei Sartori, in Cannaregio. Wish I could snap my
fingers and be back in Venice, just wandering around. (Join the club, right?)
[You can see more Sunday Bridges here, chez Louis la Vache.]
What a beautiful photo. The colors, the wrought iron, the perspective, the reflection. I haven't yet visited Venice, so I'll join you and Genie when you get that snap your fingers thing down :) Have a great day.
The color gradients are exquisite accented with the wrought iron railings... the composition makes for a photo on which the eyes linger and return
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you get that "snap your fingers" thing worked out and I'll join you in Venice and then Paris and... the list goes on!
Bisous,
Genie
Puts you right in the scene. Cannaregio is my new favorite sestiere. Still a real neighborhood, isn't it.
ReplyDeletethis has a delightful ranshackle feel to it, does Venice!
ReplyDeletethat should be 'ramshackle' (said in an adoring way)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful image, Alexa!
ReplyDelete«Louis» apologizes that he wasn't able to visit your Sunday Bridges post until today.
He appreciates your frequent contributions to the meme. ;-D
