Sunday Bridges

This is the Broadway Bridge, over the Spuyten Duyvil Creek—
waaay uptown, in the Bronx. Broadway starts at the tip of
Manhattan, runs the entire length of the city, crosses this bridge,
and continues all the way to Sleepy Hollow—where it
doesn't end but does get a new name.

  1. Hi Alexa, had no idea Broadway went all the way to Sleepy Hollow! This photo looks like you might have been on a subway train ...

  2. I once had an all day bus pass and ended up taking a bus up Broadway just to use it up. But didn't make it as far as this before I decided to turn back. It looks pretty cool.

  3. What a neat looking bridge. It certainly stands out. Is there a park on the left side of this view?

  4. I love the perspective of this shot, with the curving railroad tracks. Nice.

  5. The green space is just that (not an actual park). I was on a train, headed to a wedding in Ithaca.
