Today's Flowers

I've shown the 40,000+ bulbs that bloom each
year in the Brooklyn Botanic's Bluebell Wood—
but I spotted these closer to home, tucked up against 
the stone foundation of my apartment building.

Recently passed by Ralph Lauren's huge store at
Madison and 72nd. Didn't go in (mainly because
 there's nothing in there I can afford)—but I
definitely enjoyed the window shopping!

the spring flowers are fading or gone and many of the
summer ones not yet in full bloom—so this cornflower stood out.
