The prompt for Week 47: a place I'd show you in my town Aside from all the things there are to see in Manhattan, I'm pretty proud of my own borough, Brooklyn. I would definitely take you for a stroll through my "backyard," the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Maybe you'll come when the Bluebell Wood (all 40,000+ bulbs) is in full fabulous bloom! Today's Flowers
I've shown the 40,000+ bulbs that bloom each year in the Brooklyn Botanic's Bluebell Wood— but I spotted these closer to home, tucked up against the stone foundation of my apartment building. [To see more flowers, go here.] |

monday mosaic

Caught these luscious bluebells two weekends
in a row—though they appear to be two entirely
different colors, that's just because one weekend
it was raining and the other it was sunny (and more
than 40,000 were planted here!).

red house.]
