Let's revisit a balmy late-November day on the Venetian lagoon, 

with the sun glinting off the beautiful blue-green water—makes a nice 

change from the snow, snow, snow we're "enjoying" here in the States.

Sunday Bridges

This is the Broadway Bridge, over the Spuyten Duyvil Creek—
waaay uptown, in the Bronx. Broadway starts at the tip of
Manhattan, runs the entire length of the city, crosses this bridge,
and continues all the way to Sleepy Hollow—where it
doesn't end but does get a new name.

This is the Ponte dei Sartori, in Cannaregio.  Wish I could snap my

Here's the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge shortly
after sunrise—quite a sight from up high.
This double-decker suspension bridge marks the
gateway to New York Harbor (any cruise or container
ship that wants to enter the harbor must be built to fit under it).
