studio on my way to work the other day. Lots
going on in there—and outside their fishbowl
in the always crazy Times Square area.

Some people think that NYC is an impersonal place;
not true.  In fact, you never need to be lonely here.
This young man parked himself in Times Square
and just invited anyone and everyone to have
a conversation with him.  (No, I didn't; I was in a
hurry to meet a friend. But I'm sure lots of folks did.)

Had dinner with some good friends recently
at this inventively decorated Thai restaurant—
a bit of an oasis in the midst of all the
42nd Street/theater district madness.

With everything lit up the way it is, you're
bound to find some reflections in Times Square
at night. When I took the picture, I only saw
one—but now I see a couple more.

Intriguing assignment, and not that easy
(I'm the one behind the camera for a reason)!

here I am bigger than life in Times Square.

This statue of George M. Cohan in
Duffy Square—directly facing Times
Square—was dedicated in 1959,
and he's been giving his regards to
Broadway ever since.

Now this is what I'd call a MULTI-plex!
When I get around to seeing Avatar
(in 3-D!), this theater on 42nd Street
is probably where I'll go.
