The prompt for Week 38: Each moment is a place you've never been. This photo represents a place I'd never been on more than one level. I was on a pristine, mostly-undisturbed-by-humans beach in the Galapagos. And this hawk and I shared a special (for me anyway) "moment"—when he landed in a mangrove tree and allowed me to get close enough (no zoom needed, only nerve) to capture this shot. ReplyDeleteOoooh, how wonderful! I remember a baby owl capture that made me feel something like that. This is a beautiful bird. He almost seems to be saying, "I know I don't have a bad side, get your picture!" =)
