This little guy (who's about 3 inches long) might grow up to be more than 4 feet long and weigh over 600 pounds, and live to be 100 years old! In the Galapagos, giant sea tortoise eggs are collected and incubated. Then the hatchlings are hand-raised for 5 years, until their shell is hard enough to protect them from predators.
