52 Photos Project

The prompt this week: outside the lines.

I've learned to follow this rule: Always go for the picture 
even 
(or maybe especially) when you're not at all sure it will work.
I've gotten some of my favorite shots this way, like this 
one of the spires of lower Manhattan—taken at night from the 
Staten Island Ferry as it bobbed up and down in choppy waters.

  4. I agree! It is usually the first picture I have snapped of something that I end up keeping. It's like your third eye knows and steps in before your ego can. I love that aqua color. It is a great abstract!
