If you visit the folks who live here at #22, you're greeted
by this gorgeous lacecap hydrangea. If I didn't live
in an apartment, I'd definitely have one of these! [To see more flowers, go here.]
That is so gorgeous! It makes me imagine the home at #22 being an adorable, cozy cottage. Looks like the wooden stand once held a mailbox, till the hydrangea took over and the mailbox either had to be moved or the hydrangea cut back, and they chose the former. I call that having your priorities straight! ;-)
Well, next time you're by there, would you mind terribly knocking on their door and asking if they'd like to trade their hydrangea'd cottage near the beach for our house in the Wyoming mountains? (And while you're at it, you might as well ask them if I'm right about the mailbox, too!) LOL :-)
That's a truly beautiful sight. Great shot! I wish I could grow Lacecap Hydrangeas. I love their form and colours.
ReplyDeleteWhat a warm welcome! The flowers are so lovely, one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteEven in an apartment you could have on in a pot. They really are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMy entry.
Laloofah -- I don't know about the mailbox (like your idea though), but it IS a cozy cottage—and only a 2-minute walk to the beach too!

ReplyDeleteLaloofah -- If I find myself at #22 again (it could happen), I'll
ReplyDeleteknock on the door for sure!
