The prompt this week: the color red. The scene: early morning on rue Saint-Julien le Pauvre, Paris. I'll bet these battered roses have a tale to tell—and probably not a happy one. What do you think? To see more of the 52 Photos Project, visit Bella's meme. |
Great capture. It tells a story, with several scenarios. Lets your imagination wander...
ReplyDeleteLove this photo . . . so beautiful. I am sure there is a tale to tell . . . would love to know what it is!
ReplyDeleteExcellent Photo ~ so enchanting ~ I would like to think that there is a good story behind the scattered flowers ~ ^_^ ~ Anyone's guess ~Great for 52 Photos ~ thanks, namaste, Carol ^_^ (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteI love this photo, everything about it. And it could be a happy story- maybe a man in love had made a walkway out of rose petals to the building for when his love stepped out of the car? And then later, when they were snug in their apartment/house, a street cleaner swept them into the street? But who knows, it really could be anything!
ReplyDeleteLove this! It beautifully captures a mood of Paris and does make you wonder about the story behind the rose petals indeed.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right. War of the roses. Not a happy camper. Lovely photo. Lovely street.
ReplyDeleteI do see a sad story here - this scene makes such a statement. Hopefully, the story ended well? Your vision of red is a beautiful one.
