Sunday Bridges

Took this on the weekend, when cars are not
allowed in Central Park, but you can still see clearly
how this park was designed for pedestrians foremost,
with plenty of walkways under the (few) roadways.

  1. Only once have I had the opportunity to visit Central Park, what a delightful place to spend a day.

  2. I have not seen CP in such beautiful weather in quite some time, but it is a gorgeous spot of green easily identifiable when flying over the city... love this stone bridge and passageway!

  3. Looks like spring has sprung in NYC and CP. Frederick Law Olmsted was America's first landscape architect who also designed Golden Gate Park and Oakland's Mt. View Cemetery.
