Sunday Bridges

Here's the San Mateo Bridge (I'm sure
Louis recognized it right away).  And why
can't they keep the plane windows clean?
Would have loved to meet Louis, but I was
just passing through (again) and it was a very, 
very tight connection.  Maybe one of these
days I'll actually get out of the airport!

Loved the way the reflections of the south
windows of this church (St. Médard,
at the far end of the rue Mouffetard market)
were cast on the opposite wall.

This is the Pont de la Tournelle, seen recently from
the Ile Saint Louis on a gorgeous "springtime in Paris"
day (and that's the Arab Institute in the background).

This is Pol Bury's fountain in Paris's Palais Royal garden.
Still not sure how I feel about modern art in this
elegant space, but it sure is fun to photograph!

This is the Pont de l'Archeveché, which connects
the eastern tip of Ile de la Cité with the Left Bank.
It was taken from the Pont au Double (and off
in the distance is the Pont de la Tournelle).
