this overcast morning, I only just beat the downpour)!

Weekend Reflections

Tried out a Spanish restaurant in the Village recently (and if I could 

remember the name of the place I'd tell you, 'cause it was pretty 

good). The candlelit ambience was lovely—and fortunately, I carry 

a penlight so I was actually able to read the menu!

another footbridge

This one's in Tribeca, across West Street, about a
block north of Ground Zero. It's used mainly by
the 3,000+ students of Stuyvesant, NYC's premiere
public high school.

This one's in Robert Wagner Park, right next to
Battery Park, at the tip of Manhattan—it's a
summer venue for some great music.
(Yes, that's Lady Liberty out there in the harbor.)

Ponte degli Angeli

This beautiful bridge, by the Castel Sant' Angelo
(just visible on the left) is my favorite in Rome.
Who can resist a bridge lined with angels?
