This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants
in NYC.  I think I like it as much
for the clever décor as I do for the food.

This one's in Tribeca, across West Street, about a
block north of Ground Zero. It's used mainly by
the 3,000+ students of Stuyvesant, NYC's premiere
public high school.

Friday Sunset

This chemical-laden sunset over
New Jersey was captured from the
west side of Manhattan.

Now this is what I'd call a MULTI-plex!
When I get around to seeing Avatar
(in 3-D!), this theater on 42nd Street
is probably where I'll go.

These are the beautiful library lions
in front of the NY Public Library. In
the 1930s, during the Depression,
Mayor Fiorello La Guardia named them
Patience (seen here in the foreground)
and Fortitude, two traits New Yorkers
needed then—as we do again now.

Chrysler Building, beautiful shiny fish
at the market in Venice, a favorite
Christmas ornament (unfortunately not
mine), and, finally, something that actually
IS silver.
