Weekend Reflections
Now that's a camera! My dad had one
of these and I'd sure love to know what
happened to it. Saw this one at the Snug
Harbor Museum, on Staten Island.

2 Things Challenge: flower/fall
Another fun meme:
Here's my contribution to this interesting
challenge—had to make a mosaic because
I couldn't decide which of these to use.
[You can see more—or join in yourself— here.]
Brooklyn Bridge
I'd like to contribute my favorite (with
the Manhattan Bridge thrown in as well)
to Louis La Vache's Bridges meme today.

weekend reflections
Found this reflection in the Japanese Garden
in my "backyard" (the Brooklyn Botanic Garden).

Mosaic Monday
Walked around the Brooklyn Botanic
Garden two weeks ago and only the
crocus and the Chinese witch hazel
were in bloom. Took a quick stroll
through there on Saturday and
found all this and more flowering
in a brilliant burst of color! Within
a few days the garden's famous
cherry blossoms will be in full
bloom too—can't wait.
[To see more mosaics, head here to
Mary's lovely Little Red House.]

weekend reflections
Whenever I'm lucky enough to get to
Florence, Trattoria Za Za is the first
place I go! (Pssst! If you go, order
the carciofi and the apple tart.)
