This week's challenge was absurdly
easy—or maybe not since there's too
much to choose from. I finally decided on
one of my faves that are blooming
right now: bleeding hearts
(so aptly named, aren't they?).

While he was being silly and posing for his friends,
I'll bet this kid found some respect for the man
who really did hold that pose for the sculptor!

A peony in full fabulous bloom is truly a
beautiful thing.  But I also like to capture them
when their petals begin to fall and you can
appreciate how they're made in fine detail.
