The prompt for Week 24—color of the season: gold

This ginkgo—the tree "that grows in Brooklyn"—is
in my neighborhood (in Brooklyn, of course).
But I must admit that I took this picture a couple
of years ago.  Right now, the leaves are still mostly green.

Weekend Reflections

This is Bar Corvo, a great new(ish)
restaurant in my Brooklyn neighborhood.
They don't take reservations, but we
like to get there early and have our meal
at the kitchen bar so we can watch the
chefs do their delicious thing.
