Week 1—the prompt: What are you beginning right now? I've started making cards with some of my photos. Lots of different sorts of images, but these— peonies in various stages of their life cycle—definitely seem to go together. (The idea is to sell them, but I haven't figured that part out yet. Perhaps I need to "own" them first.) [To see more of the 52 Photos Project, or to play along yourself, visit Bella's meme.] |
the photos are beautiful. i can see how you would want to make them into cards! good luck :)
ReplyDeleteHi Alexa: I'm just joining in to Bella's group and checking out the other contributors. Would you mind sharing the company that you are using to print your cards? They are quite lovely and I'm wanting to do the same, but as gifts for friends. Any thoughts you can share would be appreciated! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThe cards aren't "printed"—I order 4x6 photo insert cards from studiostyle.com and prints of my photos from snapfish (sometimes they have great deals), and put them together myself.
DeleteJust joining Bella's group and comforted to see someone else asking the question I am about "owning" my photos.

ReplyDeletethey are beautiful!! very worthy of going out into the world to be shared.
ReplyDeleteit's a shame to keep them locked up isn't it, we should send them out into the world.

Beautiful! I have thought of doing the same thing. What program do you use to make them?
