Pont des Invalides

I think this is a lovely bridge, but it tends
to be overshadowed by the elegant
Pont Alexandre III, just upriver—not to
mention the Grand Palais at its Right
Bank end and the golden dome of the
Invalides nearby on the Left Bank.

[You'll find more bridges here, chez Louis la Vache.]

  3. I do not recall this bridge as you mentioned Pont Alexandre III overshadows the bridges in that area.

  5. Indeed, it is overshadowed by Pont Alexandre III, and too bad for that because it has its own beauty as shown by your detail photo.

  6. Nice face. I'm trying to tag it with the right emotion. . . maybe screaming anger?

  10. There are so many bridges in Paris, it's hard to say which one is the nicest! This is a nice one for sure, with some interesting details.
